The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC is a registered society run by volunteers. Our primary focus is to rescue and rehome small animals in need. Neglected, injured and abandoned animals are our main priority.
Small Animal Rescue works to provide a safe haven for small animals in need while promoting responsible pet guardianship through education, advocacy, and spay/neuter initiatives.

As you have probably heard, with the discontinuation of the penny, we will soon be losing one of our main fundraisers.
As a result, we are asking our supporters if they could help us to continue collecting pennies from friends, family or place of work in one last collection effort.
As the old saying goes, “every penny helps” and for our small animals, every penny certainly does help. Being small doesn’t mean you can’t do great things

Join us this Sunday for our annual Easter celebration at the picturesque south Langley Township 7 Winery. Have fun with the whole family with an Easter Egg Hunt in the vineyard and crafts room for the children, as well as Easter goodies in support of SARS BC.
Bring a picnic and enjoy brunch in the the vineyards or build your own picnic with artisanal fare from our selection of local charcuterie items and handcrafted chocolate by XOXOLAT. Take in the live music and a glass of wine or two while the kids frolic for the afternoon.
Time: noon to 4:00 pm
Cost: $2 – by donation

Last month, we were invited to speak to them about our organization, our animals and what we do. They were a wonderful audience with lots of great questions.
Snowstorm & Bella the guinea pigs and Bucket & Bambi the rabbits, would like to thank them all for their wonderful donation at the end of the night.
The girls held a Xmas fundraisier and decided that they’d like the money to go towards helping animals. By a vote at the end of the night, it was decided that the money would be used for our vet bills.
They were a great example of the future generations of responsible pet gaurdians. We’s also like to remind everyone that Classic Girl Guide Cookies went on sale March 26, 2011. For more information call 1-800-565-1111
